Description
These are five ballerina extruder disc sets (extruder not included) to make one ballerina that will need to be assembled. It can be used to make soap embeds or clay canes.
The soap is featured as an example above only, not included in your order.
This is a five disc set. Each extruder disc is 3 mm thick. It is 3-D printed with PLA filament. It can be used for polymer clay or soap dough as long as they are properly conditioned (pliable).
Once put together, the ballerina size will vary depending on the disc size. It can be up to 3.5″ tall if you choose the 57 mm, but you can adjust the position of the arms (as pictured on the left soap bar) to make it shorter overall.
The disc will be sanded on the edges to make sure it fits smoothly in the extruder.
Color may vary from the one seen in the picture.
It can be printed with ABS filament if preferred. Please make a note of that when you order or contact me.
Items have a 1 year warranty against breakage while in normal use.
-The 48.20 mm disc will fit this cookie press (Cookie Press Maker Kit for DIY Biscuit Maker and Decoration with 8 Stainless Steel Cookie discs and 8 nozzles (Stainless Steel)and the DIY extruder made with a 1.5” PVC pipe
-The 50.8 mm disc (2”) will fit the SCOTT CREEK POTTERY – SUPER DUPER CLAY GUN
-The 57 mm disc will fit the Nidec Shimpo Handheld Extruder
-The 24 mm disc will fit into the Walnut Hollow adapter, which I have used with the Makin’s extruder found here.
– The 18.5 disc mm will fit the Makins or the Lucy extruder

If you are using the green Makin’s or any other metal extruder that is not made of stainless steel, and if your soaps are prone to DOS, I would suggest smearing the inside of your barrel and all metal surfaces that will be in contact with the soap with petroleum jelly to prevent DOS. I have personally observed DOS develop on my embeds made with this extruder which is what made me look for other alternatives, like the one I made with the PVC pipe. The Lucy extruder is made of stainless steel. (similar to the size of the Makin’s or Walnut Hollow)
