
My favorite character from the little prince book is the fox. I like foxes in general, a couple years ago I tried making a fox figurine. I was going to buy it, but the one that I liked the most was too pricey (for me) and I did not care for the antique look of it. I ended up making it out of polymer clay:


I made the fox soap embeds very similar, except there was no need for a wire armature and they are much smaller. (t was a lot faster for sure). I go over this process at the beginning of the video, which you can find below.
I have watched now a few different movies based on the little prince, and I have liked Gene Wilder’s interpretation the best. Here you can watch it if you have not yet.

Note: I am using a lye blend that includes Koh (Potassium hydroxide), mainly because I bought some for a project, did the project, now I have a lot leftover and want to use it up. Also because I have read that it helps increase bubbles, and my husband loves a bubbly soap. You can enter the ingredients in a lye calculator and modify the recipe, to get the correct amount for just Naoh.
