The first time I attempted to make a lamb embed, was for a Christmas soap that has not come to be yet. I was not very happy with how the lamb turned out, so I put it to the side and did not remember it until I was watching a show a few months back.

The show is The Great Pottery Throw Down (I have a thing for British tv shows), and I watched it in youtube. One of the judges, by the way, gets really moved when a great piece of pottery is done, it literally moves him to tears. Anyway, I believe it was in season 3 when they tried to balance the show on both throwing skills as well as sculpting abilities for the contestants. Rosalind was really good at sculpting and she made these lamps:
While making them, she said she had seen some lambs being sheared, and that it struck her how they seem to just be sitting on the floor while it happens. Seeing this gave me the idea to revisit making the lamb embeds, and here we are.
I chose a sample fragrance of Figs from Lone Star Candle, as I figured that given the choice, lambs may enjoy eating that. In the soap, the fragrance strikes me as having some sweet licorice notes.
