Peaches and Cream Cold Process Soap

peaches and cream soap with peach slices embeds

I used to think that “peaches and cream” was just a flavor of oatmeal packets. It turns out it is an actual dessert consisting of peach slices and whipped cream.

When I saw its namesake fragrance at Lone Star Candle Supply, I had to buy it.  I love everything peach.  It was here in the States that I had a peach cobbler for the first time and it is one of my favorite desserts now (the cake like version). Curiously, I prefer nectarines to peaches if eating them by themselves; but Trader Joe’s says nectarines are just shaved peaches anyway.

In cold process soap, most peach fragrances are notorious for fading away, however I was willing to take the chance for this one.

So far it has been four weeks since I made it, and the fragrance is still strong.

Originally, I was going to use miniature peach embeds, like the ones from this soap, however at the last minute I decided to do peach slices to simulate the dessert better.
