Making Flower Power Soap

This soap reminds me a little bit of a book series I am reading. It is called the Mitford Series, by Jan Karon. It is a book I like to read before going to bed, it has a very tranquil tone. It reminds me of it, because flowers are mentioned often in the book. The main character, Father Tim, is a good gardener himself. However, the soap reminds me more of Hessie Mayhew, a minor character in the series. You see, she is a florist. An unconventional florist. She often makes arrangements out of flowers she plucks straight from other people’s gardens! And she feels they ought to feel grateful she found their flowers pretty enough.

I did not make the soap with her character in mind prior though, but the more I look at the soap, the more it reminds me of her, especially because of the mushroom included.

I was careful to keep the soap batter fluid, it was not very fluid, but it worked well enough for the rainbow effect I wanted. Below are is the recipe, the supplies and video links.
