I share a special connection with some of my nephews and niece, primarily because we lived in the same house when they were little. They are big supporters of my soap making and any other endeavor I pursue, so I may some soaps with them in mind. I should mention that also other nephews I have not shared a home with are also very supportive, they watch my videos and get excited about what I make. I like to think of myself as the cool aunt in the family…..lol
This is a soap that was inspired in them, though I ended up liking the fragrance more than I thought, it smells just like bubble gum, and it has a touch of cinnamon, though it has mellowed down a bit (it was really strong when the soap was freshly made).
I was a bit excited-nervous while making it, because it would be the first time piping on a soap. And I was not sure how to go about it, I have seen tons of videos of people piping on soap but I am not a fan of it myself. However, I may become one now!

The Making of the Soap

And here is the Recipe link for piping (Though I piped two loaf of soaps so this would be too much for one soap, you would need to modify the total batch amount.
These are the additives I used:
Colorants: 1/4 tsp of yellow lake #5 and 1.5 teaspoons of Titanium dioxide dispersed in 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil (I would choose some other oil though, since sunflower oil has a 6 month shelf life)
Fragrance: Bubble Gum
Embeds: I made them with soap dough and melt and pour.
Gummy bears: I made them with clear melt and pour soap. And a mold I made myself. However this might work. (aff link)
Gummy worms: I made them with soap dough, and I rolled them in Epsom Salts (aff link)
