If you like chocolate, you will love this soap. It smells like pure chocolate. It was meant to smell like peppermint/chocolate (a scent I like, though I personally do not like the taste of chocolate mints that much). However, the peppermint candy fragrance has lightened up a lot and I cannot detect it much anymore. But the chocolate is strong!!
I wrote about my love for chocolate before so I will not repeat that here. One of my favorite childhood drinks was hot cocoa (now that I am more calorie conscious, I can only indulge in it occasionally). I was very happy when at a White elephant Christmas party, I received this hot cocoa jug and frother. (aff link) as much as I liked it though, I gave it away after realizing I had only used it a couple of times in several years. But when I do decide to make real hot cocoa, I miss it!
By the way, I recently made hot cocoa with Cacao powder (aff link) in it, instead of Cocoa powder. (The difference between the too, seems to be the price and the fact that cacao is made out of raw cacao beans, vs cocoa which is made out of roasted cacao beans. It tasted like the hot cocoa from El Salvador! I used brown sugar with a pinch of cinnamon an I liked it!
Back to the soap, I had two chocolate fragrances: Chocolate chip from Nature’s Garden and Dark Rich Chocolate from Brambleberry. Each has a different vanillin content, vanillin oxidizes when exposed to oxygen, which means that each would turn to different shades of brown. For the white portion, I used peppermint candy fragrance from Wholesale Supplies (which seems to fade after a few weeks).
The white at the bottom is supposed to represent the bottom curve of a mug, and the white on top is meant to be melted marshmallows.

If you are a fellow soapmaker, here is a link to the recipe. You can copy it within the web page, and adjust it to your mold size and Save as New. The bars were smaller than I wanted them to be, I modified the recipe to the way I would remake them (slightly bigger)
Here is the video of the making it:
